Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Testing & Commissioning Engineer (Technical Support) with outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. The candidate shall be smart, organized, honest, proactive and have excellent administrative and IT skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Remark: This role is primarily office-based and focused on technical documentation, engineering coordination, and commissioning preparation activities.

Experience: 6–8 Years

المؤهلات
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university
6–8 years of relevant experience in MEP Testing & Commissioning within construction projects
Strong background in construction projects, preferably with experience in design or engineering offices
Excellent technical knowledge of MEP systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
Strong understanding of system operational sequences and mechanical control philosophies
Excellent ability to read and interpret drawings, material submittals, and project specifications
High level of accuracy and professionalism in technical documentation and reporting
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Proficiency in AutoCAD and related engineering software
Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience in large-scale or mega projects is considered an advantage

Prepare detailed Testing & Commissioning (T&C) method statements for mechanical systems in accordance with project specifications, applicable codes, and international standards
Develop and compile comprehensive Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals including system descriptions, operating procedures, datasheets, and vendor documentation
Prepare structured commissioning plans aligned with project scope, milestones, and deliverables
Review project drawings, material submittals, specifications, and technical documents to ensure commissioning requirements are properly addressed
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, design teams, vendors, and internal departments to collect and verify required technical information
Follow up and coordinate with site engineers to ensure proper implementation of approved T&C procedures and documentation
Provide technical support and clarifications during commissioning and startup activities
Prepare progress reports related to T&C documentation status, milestones, delays, and recovery plans
Maintain logs for submissions, approvals, comments, and commissioning progress tracking
Review and validate technical submissions from subcontractors and vendors
Ensure all documentation complies with applicable international standards such as NEBB, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, and project/client requirements
Standardize templates and document formats across projects to maintain high-quality deliverables
