Job Summary:

We are looking to employ a qualified MEP Planning Engineer with outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. The candidate shall be smart, organized, honest, proactive and have excellent administrative and IT skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Work will be based on the company’s Saudi Arabia branch.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
5 to 7 years of experience in the planning within construction projects.
Highly planning softwares literate in Primavera, MS Excel Office, etc. with capability to generate presentable dashboards and analysis charts..
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed Testing & Commissioning schedules for MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Firefighting, Plumbing, BMS, ELV, etc.).
Coordinate with installation and QA/QC teams to align testing sequences with overall project timelines.
Sequence commissioning activities logically (pre-commissioning, functional testing, integrated systems testing).
Integrate OEM/vendor participation and authority inspections into the schedule.
Monitor T&C progress using detailed checklists and reports.
Coordinate with MEP subcontractors, OEMs, third-party inspectors, and commissioning agents.
Review commissioning method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and schedules.
Plan and monitor availability of required testing instruments, tools, and calibrated devices.
Identify delays or risks in commissioning due to late installations, incomplete inspections, or missing equipment.
Ensure all commissioning activities comply with project specs, international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.), and local authority requirements.
Track and support final system acceptance tests (SAT), integrated systems testing (IST), and performance verification.
